Does it render LaTeX math?

Complex equations (block-level $$...$$ or inline $...$) currently fall through to plain text. For math-heavy academic work, render to HTML first and use a math-aware print pipeline. Simple inline expressions still render as text.

What about inline HTML in my markdown?

Inline HTML tags like , , raw are dropped from the PDF output. Pure Markdown syntax (headings, lists, tables, fenced code) produces the cleanest result.

Images referenced by https:// URL are downloaded and embedded automatically. Local file paths and base64 data URIs are not supported in this version.

Does it support emoji?

Plain ASCII renders perfectly. Unicode emoji and CJK characters may appear as missing-glyph boxes — we're working on extended font coverage in a future release.

Can I customize the page layout?

Not in this version. The PDF uses a standard A4 layout with comfortable margins. Custom themes are on the roadmap.

Do I need pandoc installed to convert .md to PDF?

No. This is a browser-based alternative to the pandoc markdown to pdf workflow — you don't install pandoc, don't pull down a LaTeX distribution, and don't manage a template directory. Upload the .md file, download the .pdf. If you already have pandoc locally and just want a quick one-off without firing up the CLI (or fighting a missing LaTeX package), this is the shortcut.
